FAMILY QUESTIONS

Know before tip-off

Clear answers about playing time, attendance, travel, payments, uniforms, fundraising, documents, and family accounts.

01Is playing time guaranteed?+

No. Playing time may vary based on development, attendance, effort, conduct, safety, game situations, team needs, and coach decisions. Team placement also does not guarantee equal minutes.

02What happens if a player misses practice?+

Notify the coach as early as possible. Repeated unexcused absences may affect readiness, role, playing time, or roster status. Illness, school obligations, and emergencies should be communicated privately.

03How do refunds work?+

Personalized items and expenses already committed for a player may be non-refundable. Review the complete Payment & Refund Policy before accepting a roster offer or making the first payment.

04Can uniform sizes or numbers be changed?+

Sizes and preferred numbers are reviewed before ordering. Numbers are not guaranteed, and personalized items generally cannot be changed or refunded after the order is placed.

05Who handles tournament travel?+

Families are generally responsible for transportation, lodging, meals, and supervision unless Carolina Kings provides different written instructions for an event. Event-specific costs and arrangements will be shared in advance.

06How does fundraising work?+

Approved fundraising can reduce eligible team or player expenses according to the posted fundraiser rules. Credits are not cash refunds and may be limited to designated costs.

07Can I register more than one child?+

Yes. Submit a separate player intake for each child using the same guardian email. Both players should then appear under the same My Team account.

08Which documents are required?+

A birth certificate, current player photo, physical or medical clearance, insurance card, and AAU membership card may be required before final participation. Upload clear PDF, JPG, PNG, or WEBP files through the secure registration form.

09How do parent accounts connect to players?+

Sign in using the same email entered as the guardian email on registration. If the emails differ, contact the team to correct the registration rather than submitting duplicate records.
