PRE-LAUNCH DRAFTEffective upon public launch · Last revised September 8, 2026

Your family’s information is team business—not public content.

Carolina Kings collects only the information needed to evaluate players, support safety, communicate with families, and operate the program.

01

Information we collect

Player identity, birth date, grade, school, basketball experience, guardian and emergency contacts, health and insurance information, uniform sizes, participation choices, electronic signatures, uploaded documents, attendance, charges, payments, and team communications.

02

Why we collect it

To evaluate registration, communicate with families, support player safety, order uniforms, manage rosters and events, document permissions, track attendance and balances, and operate the Carolina Kings program.

03

Who may access it

Authorized Carolina Kings administrators may access complete registration records. Coaches and approved volunteers receive only the information reasonably needed for player safety and team operations. Payment providers process payments under their own privacy terms. We do not sell player or family information.

04

Children’s and medical information

A parent or legal guardian must submit information for a minor. Health details and identity documents are treated as restricted records and are not displayed publicly. Families should not email sensitive documents when the secure upload is available.

05

Storage and protection

Structured records and uploaded files are stored using access-controlled website services. Administrative access requires authentication. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

06

Retention

Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for team operations, safety, accounting, insurance, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Non-selected player records and outdated documents will be reviewed for deletion on a regular schedule.

07

Corrections, copies, and deletion requests

A parent or legal guardian may request access, correction, replacement, or deletion of eligible records. Some information may need to be retained for payment, insurance, safety, or legal reasons. Identity may be verified before a request is completed.

08

Photos, video, and communications

The guardian’s media choice controls identifiable team use. Families may opt out of nonessential email or text messages while still receiving safety, account, and operational notices when permitted.

PRIVACY REQUESTS
