TEAM POLICY
Clear expectations before a family commits to the Carolina Kings roster.
After a roster offer is accepted, payments are generally non-refundable for voluntary withdrawal, switching teams, schedule conflicts, transportation issues, disagreements about playing time or coaching, missed activities, or removal for violating team policies. This protects expenses committed based on the accepted roster.
Uniforms, apparel, bags, and other personalized or special-order items are non-refundable once ordered. Families will have an opportunity to confirm sizes and available number preferences before the order is submitted.
Tournament entries, facility charges, travel commitments, and other event expenses paid or committed on a player’s behalf may be non-refundable, even if the player later does not attend.
Payment does not guarantee playing time, a starting position, a particular role, or participation in every game. Coaches make basketball decisions based on development, attendance, effort, conduct, team needs, and game circumstances.
Fundraising and sponsorship proceeds support Carolina Kings program expenses. These funds are not assumed to be refundable personal funds. Only amounts specifically designated in writing as an individual player credit may be applied to that player’s balance.
If a player is removed for conduct, attendance, safety, sportsmanship, or another team-policy violation, amounts already paid or committed generally remain non-refundable.
Carolina Kings may review documented exceptional circumstances individually. A review does not guarantee a refund, and any approved refund or credit will consider expenses already paid or committed for the player.
A parent or legal guardian must confirm that this policy has been read and understood. The family must review the registration information and included items before submitting payment.
